Greetings Frontrunner Members,
Our June chapter meeting was hosted by Robrick Nursery in Hawthorne. The folks at Robrick took us on a tour of their operation which utilizes many innovative irrigation, heating and material handling procedures. Their ingenuity and creativity is certainly inspiring. The meeting was sponsored by BWI, Fafard, and Syngenta, who in turn made a presentation to our members. I want to thank them and the Robrick Nursery crew for their hospitality and support.
We held the election of Officers and Board of Directors at the June meeting with the following results:

Congratulations to our new Officers and Board of Directors and good luck for the coming year!
The July meeting will be our year-end meeting where the new officers will be sworn in for the coming year. The meeting will be held at the Best Western Grand in Gainesville on July 14. Dinner will be served at 6:00 PM and the cost is $15.00. Our new FNGLA President, Monty Knox, will be here to swear in our new officers. Please make plans to attend as this is always an enjoyable evening.
In closing, this will be my last President's Newsletter and I wanted to thank everyone involved with Frontrunners for their support during my term as President. I truly enjoyed working with my fellow officers and our Board of Directors this past year. They are a tremendous group and we are very lucky to have them! Thank you for the opportunity to have served as President this past year and I know we all look towards next year with hope of an improved economy and better times to come.
