About the Presenter

Robert Bowden has been the Director of the City of Orlando's beautiful Leu Gardens for 24 years and also is professor of horticulture at Valencia State College and Palm Beach State College. Earlier, he was the Director of the Atlanta Botanical Garden and Director of Horticulture at the Missouri Botanical Garden in St. Louis.   His books, "The Florida Top Ten Garden Guide" by Time/Warner Books and "Growing Florida Fruits and Vegetables" by Cool Springs Press are considered by many to be the accepted "go-to" references throughout the Sunshine State.
