||The Landscape Show features 200,000 sq. ft. of trees, shrubs, equipment and more from over 400 exhibiting companies in over 800 booth spaces. In addition to the extensive trade show, numerous events promoting certification, industry and government surround The Landscape Show.
||TPIE is the only national trade event for tropicals. TPIE's trade show is more than an exhibit area - it's 200,000 sq. ft. of living and vibrant plants creating a virtual indoor garden of showstopper displays. With more than 500 exhibiting companies, TPIE offers wholesale buyers the widest array of resources for foliage and tropical plants in the country.
Hosted by FNGLA's Floriculture Division, this 2-day event takes place in conjunction with the Epcot® International Flower & Garden Festival held each spring and is comprised of three trial gardens located at (1) Disney's nursery; (2) Harry P. Leu Gardens; and, (3) the University of Florida Orange County Extension Office. The conference provides key opportunities to interact with the top floriculture professionals in the industry, learn from leading industry experts and see, touch and feel the industry breeder's latest releases. The performance trial gardens and their evaluations provide insight into the plants' Florida performance. It's a must-attend for anyone looking to be in-the-know with Florida's floriculture happenings!
An integral part of The Landscape Show, FNGLA hosts The Knowledge College – in-depth education targeting current issues and business topics relevant to the show's audience of Retail Garden Center Professionals, Landscapers, Landscape Designers, Woody Ornamental Growers, City and municipality personnel, Growers, and anyone intersted in furthering their kowledge of the issues and topics affecting Florida's nursery and landscape industry. Continuing Education Units (known commonly as CEUs) are awarded for many industry certification programs including FNGLA's own programs: FNGLA Certified Horticulture Professionals (FCHP) and manytimes FNGLA's Landscape Certifications (FCLC, FCLT, FCLD).
Held in conjunction with FNGLA's Tropical Plant Industry Exhibition (TPIE) each January, TPIE's Short Course links industry professional seeking top-quality educational programming with the programs they need to increase their knowledge. The program offers a strong focus for the Interiorscape Industry. Attendees gain insight on the latest trends and innovations in design, sales and customer service.
Education on the Go!
FNGLA is currently developing a new educational series called "Education on the Go!" aimed at bringing meaningful knowledge to the doorsteps of FNGLA's members. This is under development.
FNGLA's Annual Convention is a time each year for FNGLA members and industry friends to celebrate the past year of success while welcoming FNGLA's new leadership taking office. It is also the venue for FNGLA's Annual Meeting and the platform for presenting FNGLA's Industry Award Winners.
