Introducing Tomorrow’s Leaders to Florida’s Nursery & Landscape Industry

The Landscape Show is a perfect venue to introduce high school horticulture students to the wide range of plants, products, services – and career opportunities – in Florida’s nursery and landscape industry.

Students, teachers, classes and FFA chapters are invited to attend FNGLA’s Horticulture Career Fair at The Landscape Show on Friday, October 2.

The event will feature a new format for 2009, including more interaction with potential employers and educators.  A friendly competition among the horticulture classes and FFA chapters in attendance will provide for an outstanding learning experience.

Who Should Attend

• Nurseries, Retailers, Allied Suppliers and Landscape Companies who want to talk to you about your career plans
• Universities, Community Colleges and Technical Education Centers where you can learn more about your chosen field

What Will We Do

• Registration begins at 9 a.m., when you can learn about what the exhibitors have to offer
• At 10 am the fun begins!  Learn all you can, because you might be chosen to represent your class or FFA chapter in a competition
• The vast expanse of The Landscape Show awaits you at 11 a.m. when you have the opportunity to visit 200,000 square feet of trees, shrubs, equipment (and more!) from over 500 exhibiting companies
