Wendell E. Butler Award

Renamed the Wendell Butler Award in 1975, this award is recognized as FNGLA’s most prestigious award and receives a perpetual bowl that travels from recipient to recipient. The award winner sits on the next year’s Industry Awards Selection Committee and the year following becomes the committee’s chairperson.

Nomination Deadline - March 1st. Annually

Award Criteria: An individual who is currently a member of FNGLA and has proved faithful and exceptional service to the horticulture industry and FNGLA, not withstanding personal gain. Previous Butler Award winners are not eligible, nor is the incumbent FNGLA President.
