This hands-on workshop weaves sustainable, earth-friendly principles into traditional design with a look at design theory. Cost: $200

A Look at Irrigation

Thursday, November 2  – Advanced Irrigation: Design & Troubleshooting

Learn a standard process of diagnosing the mechanical and electrical problems found in an irrigation system, with an emphasis on productivity. Cost: $75

Friday, November 3  – Basic Irrigation: The Technicians’ Guide to Irrigation Hydraulics

Water source, pipe sizing, and elevation changes affect the efficiency and performance of the sprinklers. This workshop is filled with practice sessions to use math and theory on paper to get it right in the field. Cost: $75

Landscape Techniques

Thursday, November 2  – Hardscaping Workshop: Ultimate Enhancements to Your Landscape Designs

This hands-on workshop shows how to define themes, character and space through creative patterns of concrete pavers, retaining walls and innovations of construction materials. Cost: $75

Friday, November 3  – Well-Designed Mixed Gardens: Building Borders with Trees, Shrubs, Perennials, Annuals & Bulbs

This program discusses the design fundamentals of border building using a wide palette of plant material. Cost: $75

Friday, November 3  – Advanced Pruning Techniques

Back by popular demand, focus on pruning from the ground up featuring shearing, selective and rejuvenation pruning skills. Cost: $75

Friday, November 3 – Zoysiagrass in the Florida Landscape

This session will explain the history of zoysia in the marketplace, its successes and downfalls, and give tips for proper management.  Information about further developments of zoysiagrass in Florida will also be shared. Cost: $75
