FNGLA's Certified Landscape Technician (FCLT) program is a hands-on certification designed to measure the skills of practicing landscape installation technicians.
The FNGLA Landscape Installation Manual is a useful study guide for the FCLT exam. It provides information on the specifications and procedures for the exam, but is also a useful tool for the landscape industry.
Trainings are available at a variety of locations across the state. For more information, check out FNGLA's event calendar.
Onsite FCLT testing is offered statewide at various times throughout the year. See upcoming testing dates here.
Registration is required 30 days prior to scheduled exam. To apply to take the exam, fill out an online registration form.
FNGLA's FCLT exam is a day-long exam. Each FCLT field exam section must be passed with a minimum 70% in order to earn the FCLT certification. The exam encompasses the following field exam sections:
$225 for FNGLA members and $350 for nonmembers.
