With all of the uncertainties related to COVID-19 pandemic, FNGLA is innovating this year’s event to take place online!
Traditionally, FNGLA's Florida Flower Trials offers industry members a two-day experience to see first-hand how the newest annual plant varieties handle the heat and humidity of Central Florida!
The trials have been planted at Harry P. Leu Gardens and UF/IFAS Orange County Extension Services and FNGLA is preparing to offer industry friends the trial results virtually from the safety of his or her own home or office. Breeder’s new varieties are taking root in Central Florida’s gardens!
As part of Florida Flower Trials’ new online format, attendees will enjoy free access to view trial photos, evaluations and a trial booklet with information on the participating breeders and the new varieties being trialed. Updates on the trials will also be provided weekly beginning April 24.
FNGLA will also offer a webinar, as part of this year’s Trials, which will showcase how well each variety performs. That webinar will also be free to access and will be posted to FNGLA's website May 12.
Be sure to watch for upcoming details on May’s webinar to get a chance to hear about new floriculture trends and gather breeder insight.
Visit FNGLA's website for updates and stay tuned as the program grow.
