President's Letter: Rolling into our busiest time of year!

March 4, 2021

I hope this letter finds you and your business doing well. As we roll into March, I hope you are gearing up, or are already prepared, for the busiest time of the year for our industry as a whole. During our recent Board of Directors meeting, all of FNGLA’s Chapter and Division representatives offered positive reports and outlooks. Florida-grown plant material and professional landscaping are in high demand!

FNGLA is running on all cylinders as we head into March. This month starts the State Legislative session. FNGLA is hard at work on its advocacy priorities all highlighted in this past week’s edition of FNGLA’s e-newsletter, Ben’s Bullets. If you’re not yet an FNGLA member, you’re missing out – BIGTIME – on receiving industry updates straight to your inbox each week. Join now and begin receiving this indelible member benefit!

The FNGLA team is working hard on quite a large to-do list. There is planning underway for FNGLA’s Annual Convention to be held right on St. Augustine Beach on June 10-11. And, of course, planning is picking up for The 2021 Landscape Show in Orlando on August 25-27.

FNGLA staff and volunteer leaders have also embraced the task of developing and delivering several new initiatives. These are adding even more value to your membership! They include: Live and On-Demand Webinars; a host of On-Demand Certification prep materials; an online Foliage Shipping Resource; and, even an online FNGLA storefront.

I hope as an FNGLA member you will take advantage of some of these initiatives and you find them beneficial to you and your business.

As they always are, FNGLA’s staff team and volunteers are hard at work for you and all of our members.  Thank you for your support and please continue to support and promote this great Association of ours!

All the Best.
