”Discovering FNGLA” - Membership orientation sessions planned at The Landscape Show

October 1, 2018

Offering a peek at all FNGLA membership provides, FNGLA staff will host two “Discovering FNGLA” orientation sessions at The 2018 Landscape Show.

“Whether you’re a new FNGLA member or someone in the industry who’s interested in getting more involved in Florida’s nursery and landscape industry, this session gives you a look at all FNGLA membership does to set your business and yourself apart,” says Sandra Pellerin, FNGLA’s membership manager. “At these sessions, we are planning on opening your eyes to all we can do for you to propel your career and business forward.”

At the workshops, Pellerin also provides a rundown on how members can get more involved with FNGLA chapters, how to fulfill CEU requirements, and how to stay up-to-date on upcoming professional development and certification events. Pellerin will also focus on member benefits to which FNGLA members have access, and how FNGLA advocates at the state level for the industry.

The workshops take place from 11:30 a.m. – 12 p.m. Thurs., October 4, and Fri., October 5 on the trade show floor, in the Workshop #2 area.

Pellerin added, as a special welcome gesture, those who turn in a new membership application to FNGLA’s booth #1085 during the tradeshow, will receive a special gift.

“I can’t wait to be the first to welcome new members to the FNGLA family,” Pellerin says.
