FNGLA Certified Landscape Maintenance Technician

What is FCLMT?

FNGLA's Certified Landscape Maintenance Technician (FCLMT) program is designed to measure the skills of practicing landscape maintenance technicians. This certification relies heavily on Green Industries Best Management Practices.

  • Targets employees of landscape maintenance firms and state, county and municipal government employees.
  • One year of prior industry work experience is recommended.
  • Although recommended, no prior training is required.
  • Valid for a three-year period. Requires 15 Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to maintain this certification.

The FNGLA Landscape Maintenance manual is a useful study guide for the FCLMT exam. It provides information on the specifications and procedures for the exam, but is also a useful tool for the landscape industry.

  • Cost - $40 for FNGLA member, and $55 for nonmembers.
